Introducing Show On The Cloud’s Newest Venture: Portfolio AppsPosted on January 24, 2014 No comments yet
Remember when we told you how Show On The Cloud can act as a backend application for music apps?
This year, we’ve gone one step further and created an entire portfolio for Armstrong White powered by Show On The Cloud.
This is very exciting news not just for us, but also for the Armstrong White team. Their portfolio app is creative, minimal and clearly segments their 3D stills and videos for different users.
Here are a few screenshots from the iPad App:
And it’s not just about looks. We’ve created web and native iPad apps for the portfolio so you can access it from your desktop as well as your iPad. The web app has an admin option where you can login to manage content from the Show On The Cloud backend interface.
So what can you do with a portfolio app like Armstrong White’s?
- In-app notifications let you broadcast messages directly to users’ smart phones. And they’ll love that you’re not filling up their inboxes with updates!
- Offline viewing is a major pull for those who travel frequently and don’t have access to strong data networks.
- The Armstrong White portfolio app lets users download assets from the app itself. After all, you never know where you’ll meet a prospective client or a business partner.
- The Show On The Cloud backend powering the app lets you update your portfolio on demand. You don’t need to resubmit the app and wait for days every time you have new, exciting things to add.
Armstrong White’s sales and marketing teams also use the app extensively as they travel across the globe.
The dynamic galleries wow their customers plus their marketing team can centralize management of their global marketing content across all sales networks. With a portfolio app, your sales team can get what they want, when they want it.
